The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced a 16-member squad for the Bangladesh U-19 tour to South Africa and Zimbabwe on Thursday.
The Junior Tigers will play a three-match one-day series in South Africa and will participate in a tri-nation series with hosts Zimbabwe and South Africa.
They will compete in nine matches across Africa as part of their preparations for the upcoming ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026.
After training in South Africa for two days, they will play a warm-up match against a Cricket South Africa XI at Pretoria.
They will then travel to Benoni for the three-match series, scheduled for July 17, 19, and 22.
The two teams will subsequently move to Harare, Zimbabwe, on July 23 for the tri-nation series from July 25 to August 10.
The tri-nation tournament will be held in Harare from July 25 to August 10, featuring nine round-robin matches followed by a final. Each team will play three matches against each other in the league phase before the top two teams qualify for the final.
Bangladesh’s young players will start their campaign against South Africa on July 26, with further matches scheduled for July 31 and August 6.
The young Tigers will also face Zimbabwe on July 28, August 1, and 8, respectively.
