More than 500 students from over 200 schools across the country gathered Friday at Dhaka Club for the National Math Olympiad organised by Abacus Brain Gym Bangladesh.
Logiscool, a European coding school, was also launched in the same event.
The competition, designed to promote logical reasoning and academic excellence, featured multi-tiered mathematics challenges for schoolchildren. Organisers described the Olympiad as a platform for nurturing analytical thinking and confidence in young learners.
"The Math Olympiad not only showcases our students' talent but also reflects our commitment to nurturing young minds through innovative platforms like Logiscool," said Md. Robiul Hoque, chairman of Abacus Brain Gym Bangladesh, addressing an audience that included prominent figures from the country's business and corporate sectors.
Logiscool, now operational in over 30 countries, offers a structured curriculum in coding and digital literacy for children aged 6–18. Its entry into Bangladesh signals growing demand for early tech education in the country.
The ceremony concluded with awards for top Olympiad performers and a presentation outlining Logiscool's upcoming programs in Bangladesh.
