Several flights operating between Dhaka and key Middle Eastern destinations faced temporary disruptions after the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar closed their airspace due to the ongoing global situation.
Flights to and from Sharjah, Dubai, Kuwait, Doha, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain could not be operated as per schedule.
Affected services included Air Arabia and US-Bangla Airlines flights to Sharjah, Emirates Airlines and US-Bangla flights to Dubai, Jazeera Airways flights to Kuwait, and Qatar Airways, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, and US-Bangla flights to Doha.
Airport officials at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport have confirmed that most of these flights have now resumed under revised schedules.
