Recently, Azmeri Haque Badhan has shared an inspiring story on losing 18kgs within 6 months. The actress who will start shooting for "Bonolota Express" today, told her fans what really motivated her to go through this transformative journey.
Badhan wrote, "From 78 kg to 60 kg — I did it! This journey was not easy. My weight had increased due to mental health struggles, unhealthy habits, and neglecting weight gain caused by hereditary factors. But with the guidance of the right doctor, discipline, and self-belief, I managed to lose 18 kg in just six months."

The actress said that her biggest source of strength was her daughter. It was her daughter who motivated her to exercise, stay away from junk food, and believe in herself every single day.
Badhan added that this was not just about losing weight — it was also a symbol of healing, strength, and self-respect; and that she is still moving forward.

Meanwhile, on Friday (December 12) night, filmmaker Rezwan Shahriar Sumit announced on social media that "Master" is now ready to be shown to audiences, with all work fully completed. The shooting of the government grant–funded film wrapped up in April last year.
A political thriller, "Master" had its post-production work done in South Korea. Artistes from different parts of the world were involved in this process. The film is set against the backdrop of local politics in an upazila. Badhan will be seen in the role of an Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO). The cast also includes Nasir Uddin Khan, Zakia Bari Mamo, among others.

The director said that "Master" will be released in local theatres after participating in film festivals in various countries.
Around the middle of this year, Badhan wrapped up work on the film "The Difficult Bride". The project will be showcased at the Work-in-Progress programme of the Les Arcs Film Festival, which began in France on December 13. The film's full completion is expected by March next year.
Directed by Rubaiyat Hossain, the film also stars Reekita Nondine Shimu, Sunerah Binte Kamal and Zaineen Karim Chowdhury, among others.
