Two people were killed in another road accident on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Srinagar upazila of Munshiganj early today.

The incident took place around 5:00am as a Dhaka-bound bus hit a vehicle in Hasara area of Srinagar, said Abdul Quader Jilani, officer-in-charge of Hasara Highway Police Station.

The deceased were identified as the bus supervisor and the driver's assistant. However, the names of the two could not be known immediately.

OC Abdul Quader said, "Due to dense fog, the Dhaka-bound Purbasha Paribahan bus hit an unidentified vehicle from behind, leaving two people dead. Their bodies have been kept at Mitford Hospital."

Earlier around 12:00am, two more persons were killed when a minibus hit a covered van on Dhaka-Mawa Expressway at Nimtoli in Srinagar upazila of Munshiganj.
