Chittagong University is observing "July Mass Uprising Day 2025" with due solemnity today.

To mark the occasion, the university authorities have undertaken various programmes.

The day's events began with a colourful procession, which started at 11:00am from the university's 'Smaran Chattar' and concluded in front of the administrative building.

CU Vice Chancellor Prof Muhammad Yeahia Akhter, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof Dr Shamim Uddin, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof Dr Kamal Uddin, along with teachers, students, and officials, took part in the procession.

Later, at 2:00pm, a seminar, discussion session, and cultural programme are scheduled to be held at the auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
