The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has again extended the deadline for individual taxpayers to submit income tax returns by another month.

Under a special order issued today, taxpayers will now be able to file returns for the 2025-26 tax year until February 28.

This marks the third extension of the deadline. Earlier, the NBR had extended the submission date to January 31, following the second deadline of December 31.

The original deadline was November 30.

The tax authority said the extension was granted in the public interest.
