The Thai Embassy in Dhaka has officially launched e-visa services for ordinary passport holders in Bangladesh, starting from 2 January 2025. 

Applicants can now complete the entire visa application process online. This includes creating an account, filling out the application form, uploading required documents, and paying the visa fee online. Once submitted, the e-visa will be sent via email within 10 days, allowing travellers to enter Thailand without the need for a physical visa stamp.

This development follows the introduction of e-visa services for government passport holders in Bangladesh on 19 December 2024.
