Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha’s wife Sushama Sinha left the country yesterday night to join her husband and daughter in Australia.

She boarded a Singapore Airlines flight that left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 11:55pm, said Md Anisur Rahman, personal secretary of CJ SK Sinha.

Earlier on October 13, Chief Justice Sinha left for Australia after taking a month-long leave citing health issues, as mentioned in a letter shown to the media by the government. However, during his departure, the chief justice said he was not sick, contradicting the government's claim. Sushama Sinha had accompanied her husband to the airport during his departure.
