A fire broke out at the Chittagong Metropolitan Police headquarters in Laldighi area of the city this morning.

Several units of fire fighters are working to bring the fire under control, our Chittagong correspondent reports quoting Alok Bishwash, additional deputy commissioner of CMP (public relations).

The fire originated from the second floor of the building around 11:30am, the official said.
