A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were killed as their vehicle hit a tree by the Talora-Jamdar road in Kalipara village of Kahalu upazila in Bogura on Thursday, reports UNB.

The deceased are Suja Uddin Khan, 36, son of late Samsul Khan of Luknathpara village in Durgapur union and also the former chairman of the union, and Lebu Khan, 55, son of Sabir Khan of the same village.

Officer-in-charge of Kahalu police station Sawkat Kabir said the two persons died on the spot after three people riding the motorcycle crashed into a banyan tree by the road around 7:00pm.
