Jatiya Party Co-Chairman and Deputy Leader of the opposition in parliament GM Quader today said they will make constructive criticism in parliament to help the government figure out its mistakes.
“Country’s people don’t like destructive politics. That’s why Jatiya Party will make constructive criticism against the government to help it understand its mistakes. We will help to form a government having accountability,” he said.
The Jatiya Party leader came up with the remarks at a reception programme accorded to him and JP Secretary General Moshiur Rahman Ranga.
Mohammadpur thana Unit of JP organised the reception programme at a community centre in the capital.
GM Quader said as opposition MPs, the JP lawmakers will speak in favour of the country’s deprived people which will increase the party’s acceptability among general people.
Ranga in his speech said JP will achieve its desired result through achieving people’s trust and confidence in the party.
Presided over by Rafiqul Islam Selim, president, Mohammadpur unit, JP, the meeting was addressed by JP presidium members--Faisal Chisti, Shafiqul Islam Sentu, among others.
