Chief Prosecutor of International Crimes Tribunal Mohammad Tajul Islam today said that a second tribunal will soon be formed to investigate the atrocities committed during the July-August uprising and the last 15 years of human rights violations.
"Everyone is saying to increase the number of tribunals. We also think it is difficult for a single tribunal to cover the entire scale of the atrocities. We are working to form another tribunal. It will soon be established," he said while speaking at an event organised by the platform Voice of Enforced Disappeared Persons.
He added that the prosecution team would also be expanded to meet the growing workload.
