Popular actress Richi Solaiman, who has been living in the United States of America (USA) since last few years, is now in Bangladesh to visit her home and meet only the family members and dearest ones from the showbiz with whom she spent long time during her showbiz career in the country.

Though she received many proposals for acting in the tele-dramas even before coming to Bangladesh, she was stick to her decision about not acting in any projects during her visit to home. But she had to change her mind finally as a few close directors of her expressed their desire regarding Richi’s involvement in their projects. Taking all these earnest approaches to the consideration cordially, Richi has acted in the Rahmatullah Tuhin-directed ongoing drama serial ‘Jokhon Kokhono’.

Meanwhile, Richi has participated in the shooting for the drama serial on Sunday in a shooting house in the capital’s Uttara area.

In the drama serial, Richi has played as Afreen, daughter of veteran actress Ferdousi Majumdar. After long 12 years, Afreen returns to her mother from abroad. With a story like this, Richi-starrer episodes will go forward.

Richi said about acting in the drama serial, “A portion of this drama serial was shot in the USA before. After returning to the country this time, I have acted in a minor character in a drama produced by myself. We, who act in TV plays, have always dream to act alongside legendary actress Ferdousi Majumdar. I also had the same dream. This is my good fortune that I got an opportunity to act with a celebrated actress of her stature.”

‘Jokhon Kokhono’ is being aired regularly every Saturday and Sunday at 8:20pm on NTV.

However, Richi is likely to act in two more tele-dramas under the direction of Chayanika Chowdhury and Sumon Anwar individually. She will not work in any more projects before returning to the USA, Richi informed.
