Bangladesh Under-19 squad will resume residential training at BKSP from October 1 under head coach Naveed Nawaz, who arrived in the country recently, as the young Tigers are to start their preparation for the upcoming 2022 ICC Under-19 World Cup.

Along with the head coach Nawaz, young Tigers' strength and conditioning coach Richard Stonier also arrived in Bangladesh.

The cricketers and the staff will undergo coronavirus tests before resuming the skill training camp.

Earlier the 47-member under-19 squad completed four-week residential training at BKSP without their head coach where they played practise matches among themselves.

"We will resume the residential camp of the under-19 side under the supervision of head coach from October 1. They (head coach and trainer) have already arrived and we have shortlisted the previous squad. However, I am not able to mention the exact number of shortlisted players. The camp will take place for three to four weeks," said BCB's game development manager Emam Kayser to the media.
