After more than a decade, popular actor Riaz and Lux-Anandadhara Photogenic 2004 first runner up Tanzika Amin have paired up together once again with an Eid special tele-drama. The duo will be seen appearing as husband and wife in the tele-drama titled ‘Andho Abha’ under the direction of Sokal Ahmed. Riaz and Tanzika acted together for the first time in the film titled ‘Bokul Phuler Mala’ directed by Delowar Jahan Jhontu.

Sokal Ahmed said about the story of the tele-drama, “Man never gets rid of his past sins. He has to atone for his sins at some point of his life. With an idea like this, the tele-drama ‘Andho Abha’ has been made.”

In the tele-drama, Riaz has played the role of Mahfuz and Tanzika has enacted the role of Runa.

Riaz said about acting in the tele-drama, “Due to various reasons, it was not possible to act with Tanzika for more than a decade. Tanzika is now a much more mature actress. Besides, I always feel comfortable to work under the direction of Sokal Ahmed. Moreover, I liked the subject of ‘Andho Abha’. I hope it will be liked by the viewers.”

Tanzika said, “When I worked with actor Riaz for the first time, he was already a highly-acclaimed film actor by that time. Even at that time, he was very supportive of me. When I stood in front of the camera with him again after so many years, I found the same previous person. I rarely found an affable and cooperative artiste like him. I felt really wonderful to work with him after many years. I must thank Sokal Ahmed for involving me in this tele-drama.”

Riaz and Tanzika-starrer ‘Andho Abha’ will be aired on ATN Bangla during Eid-ul-Azha.
