The parliamentary board on Thursday in its second meeting discussed the nomination processes of party’s candidates in the upcoming general election rescheduled for December 30.

‘We shall give party nomination considering his popularity and prospect for wining in the elections,’ Quader added.
‘The political parties under the Awami League-led alliance will take part with our party symbol ‘Boat’, and Jatiya Party, Jukta Front will use their own symbols,’ Quader added.

‘The initial process for nominating party candidates is already underway and there will be some more meetings to finalise the party candidates,’ Quader said.
‘We shall give 65 to 70 seats for the alliance partners,’ Quader reiterated.
Obaidul Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, told reporters at the ministry earlier that his party would complete sharing of seats with its allies based on the surveys.
‘Different surveys continue and we shall complete seat sharing with the allies on the basis of the surveys,’ he said.
