All Dubai (DXB) bound flights have already been suspended till April 9, 2020

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced its decision to suspend flights to selected international destinations from April 1 over the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines Managing Director and CEO Mokabbir Hossain disclosed the matter through a text message on early hours of Thursday.

As per the decision, all flights bound for Jeddah (JED), Medina (MED), Riyadh (RUH), Dammam (KSA), Kuwait (KWI), Doha (DOH), Muscat (MCT) and Bangkok (BKK) will remain suspended from April 1 to April 5, 2020.

The national flag carrier also suspended all Abu Dhabi (AUH) bound flights from April 1 to April 7, all Kathmandu (KTM) bound flights from April 1 to April 12, all Kolkata (CCU) bound flights from April 1 to April 15, all Kuala Lumpur (KUL) bound flights from April 1 to April 14, and all Singapore (SIN) bound flights from April 1 to April 11. 

All Dubai (DXB) bound flights have already been suspended till April 9, 2020. 

Earlier, Biman suspended 14 flights on seven domestic routes till the end of March as a precaution, in face of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic around the world. 

The suspended flights are between Dhaka and Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Barisal, Jessore, Saidpur, Rajshahi and Sylhet.
