Low pressure systems lie over neighbouring West Bengal and southern Bay of Bengal

Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at few places over the country, with hails at isolated places, warns met office.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department's meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque predicted that the trend wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka,

A trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area, anda seasonal low lies over South Bay, Met Department's weather forecast said.

There is a possibility of rain or thunderstorm in Dhaka and neighbouring areas, he added, as well as Khulna, Barisal andChittagong divisions with hails at isolated places.
