A Bangladesh Public University Public Relations Association (BPUPRA) was formed recently.

The 21-member Executive Committee of BPUPRA was formulated via a zoom meeting on September 16 with Md Abul Kasem Shikder, director (IPRD) of Bangladesh Open University (BOU) as its president and Din Mohammed Dinu, deputy director (DD-PR) of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh as its general secretary.

The other ex officio secretaries are Md Shamsul Alam Shibli, DD (PR) of Mawlana Bhashani University science and Technology, as joint secretary; Jahangir Kabir, additional director (PR) of Bangladesh University of Professional, as treasurer; Md Bashirul Islam DD (PR) of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, as organising secretary; M Babul Hossain, PRO of Pabna Science and Technology University, as office secretary.

Khalilur Rahman, DD (public relations and publication) Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, as seminar and training secretary; Al Amin Khan PRO of Bangladesh Open University as publicity secretary; Iftekhar Hossain Raju, PRO of Noakhali Science and Technology University, as publication secretary; Md Ehteramul Haque, assistant director of Begum Rokeya University, as literary and cultural secretary; Md Rashedul Islam, PRO of Chittagong University of Science and Technology, as sports secretary.

The EC members are Md Anisur Rahman, director of Public Relations and Publication at Sylhet Agricultural University; Md Monir Faizul Karim, director (PR and Publications Division) at National University; Md Ataul Haque, DD (Informations Publication and Public Relations) at Islamic University; Dibakar Barua, deputy registrar at Chittagong University; Md Golam Martuja, DD (PR) at Rajsahi University of Science and Technology; Mahbub Alam, PRO of Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University; and MdTariqul Islam Rubel, public relations officer of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University.
